Is Your Marketing Boring Or Useless?

Just going through my filing cabinet swipe file, looking for good ads and marketing materials to go through for attendees at an upcoming seminar. One thing I have noticed recently is that my swipe file isn’t growing at the rate it used to, because there is so much dead boring, “me-too” advertising out there.

Are YOU guilty of this?

Understand this: Your customers are looking for entertainment. They aren’t looking for your product, they want to be entertained. I don’t care if your customers are CEOs or cleaners, the search for more and better and more exciting entertainment is even more important to them than actually doing something.

How to use Social Media to Grease The Slide

I want to start this post with a disclaimer: I do NOT claim to be a “Social Media Guru” or anything like that. Sure, I use facebook, I visit the site and I use it in another way which the astute observer will have already noticed. But I profess to no “facebook marketing” knowledge and I warn you to check the track record of anyone who says otherwise. (Just like any other expert I guess…)

Maximums Success University Updated Video Review

Hi folks, just a quick note to let you know I’ve uploaded a new version of the Maximum Success University video review.

The old video had a very quiet audio track, I’m not sure what was going on with my good microphones, but I just couldn’t get the volume up enough when I recorded the first review. I have a headset as well but the sound is terrible, will have to go grab a better quality one I guess.

So I have redone the audio track to be a lot louder than it was before, so make sure your speakers aren’t turned right up!

The customer is often right

Went out for pizza over the weekend. Nice little place down at glenelg, adelaide’ best known seaside area.

We’ve been there before and have left happy but not this time. Both the pizza and the garlic bread were burnt.

We had already started on the pizza so I just asked for the garlic bread to be replaced. You’d have thought I was taking the owner to court or something.

He stood there and argued that it wasn’t burnt. I should have taken a picture so I could get your opinion, but that doesn’t matter. It was as if I had told him a $1,000 bottle of grange was off or something.

Maximum Success University Review

I don’t normally promote too many other products on this site, but I wanted to share with you my Maximum Success University review site I’ve just completed for a couple of reasons:

1. I’ve just finished and uploaded a video review for Paul Barrs’ new website “Maximum Success University” and I think it’s a fantastic resource for any up-and-coming Internet marketer
2. I used a new WordPress theme to build the site myself and I’m looking for some feedback on the site (And to give you a heads-up that might have your current web designer looking for a new client…)
